Marvie and Wolfe is a Canberra CBD cafe which opened its doors in November 2018.
The menu is focused on rolls and salads, using quality ingredients, and treating those ingredients with care to deliver a great tasting product to their customers, at a fair price. We smoke our meats onsite, make our own sauces, pickles and condiments.
The menu is purposely limited with 6 rolls which can also be made into salads, along with a special roll each week. There are other daily specials which change depending on seasonal ingredients. This allows us to produce a great quality, consistent product, delivered quickly ensuring customers don’t spend their lunch time lining up and waiting for their food.
Coffee is sourced from boutique Sydney coffee roaster ‘Little Marionette’. Marvie and Wolfe are the first cafe in Canberra to offer this specialty coffee.
Grant has worked in a number of well known restaurants around Australia including Sous Chef at Restaurant Assiette, a two hatted French fine dining restaurant, before taking over the helm as Head Chef of District Dining a one hatted casual fine dining restaurant – both owned by Warren Turnbull. Then together with Warren they opened up Chur Burger which quickly gained cult status and started a burger revolution in Sydney and nationwide.
Grant jumped off the pans and learned the business side of things during his time at Chur. Still in love with the kitchen, he decided to move back to Canberra and develop a new concept to get him back in there. Marvie and Wolfe. Simple rolls and salads. Good ingredients, treated properly.
